Tarot decks are split into two groups of cards, the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana suits The cards of the Major Arcana generally highlight spiritual matters and the important trends in the seekers life. Whereas the cards of the Minor Arcana tend to deal with the everyday issues of life, Wands ( with business matters and career ambitions), Cups ( love, relationships, emotions) Swords with (conflict, battles, overcoming difficulties) and Pentacles with money and material comfort, business ventures and success in those areas. During a reading the Tarot cards are shuffled by the questioner and dealt in a pattern known as 'the spread' there are several spreads, popular spreads include the Celtic Cross and the Horseshoe spread which give an overall view, you can also use the Tarot for yes or No answers using one card.
